Terms of Service

PasteToMe is operated by One Fathom LLC, doing business as PasteToMe ("we", "us", "our", or "PasteToMe").

1. Acceptance of Terms

By creating an account or using PasteToMe ("the Service"), you agree to be bound by these Terms of Service. If you do not agree, do not use the Service.

2. Description of Service

PasteToMe is a personal clipboard tool that allows you to save text, links, and images from web pages and send them to your email or phone via SMS. The Service includes the PasteToMe website, browser extensions, and related APIs.

3. Account Registration

• You must provide a valid email address and verify it to use the Service.
• You must verify a phone number to access SMS and extension features.
• You are responsible for maintaining the security of your account credentials.
• You must be at least 13 years of age to create an account.
• One account per person. Duplicate or automated account creation is prohibited.

4. Acceptable Use

You agree not to use the Service to:

• Store, send, or distribute illegal, harmful, threatening, abusive, defamatory, or obscene content.
• Upload, share, or transmit pornography, sexually explicit material, or nudity of any kind.
• Upload, share, or transmit child sexual abuse material (CSAM) or any content depicting the exploitation of minors. Such content will be reported to the National Center for Missing & Exploited Children (NCMEC) and appropriate law enforcement agencies.
• Upload, share, or transmit content that promotes violence, terrorism, self-harm, or illegal activities.
• Send spam, unsolicited messages, or bulk communications.
• Infringe on the intellectual property rights of others.
• Attempt to gain unauthorized access to the Service, other accounts, or related systems.
• Interfere with or disrupt the Service or its infrastructure.
• Use the Service for any commercial purpose without prior written consent.
• Automate access to the Service (bots, scrapers, etc.) without permission.

5. Prohibited Content & Enforcement

The following content is strictly prohibited on PasteToMe. Uploading any of the following will result in immediate removal of the content and suspension of your account without prior notice:

• Pornography, sexually explicit material, or nudity.
• Child sexual abuse material (CSAM) or exploitation of minors.
• Content that promotes or depicts illegal activity, including but not limited to drug trafficking, weapons sales, fraud, or hacking.
• Content that promotes violence, terrorism, hate speech, or harassment.
• Malware, phishing content, or any material designed to harm others.

PasteToMe reserves the right to review uploaded content and take enforcement action at its sole discretion. Violations may also be reported to the appropriate law enforcement authorities. Suspended accounts may not be reinstated.

6. Usage Limits

• SMS: 100 messages per month for US/Canada, 15 for international numbers (resets on your billing cycle day).
• Email: 200 messages per month (resets on your billing cycle day).
• Files: Up to 20 images or videos per paste, 150 MB total. Individual files up to 150 MB.
• Text: 100,000 characters maximum per paste.

We reserve the right to adjust these limits at any time. Abuse of limits may result in account suspension.

7. Content Ownership

You retain ownership of any content you save or send through the Service. By using the Service, you grant PasteToMe a limited license to store, process, and transmit your content solely for the purpose of providing the Service to you.

We do not claim ownership of your content and will not use it for advertising, profiling, or any purpose other than delivering the Service.

8. Content Removal

We reserve the right to remove any content that violates these Terms or applicable law. We may also remove content in response to valid legal requests or DMCA takedown notices.

You may delete your pastes at any time through the Service.

9. Account Suspension and Termination

• We may suspend or terminate your account if you violate these Terms.
• We may suspend accounts that are inactive for more than 12 months.
• You may request account deletion by contacting support@pastetome.com.
• Upon termination, your data will be permanently deleted within 30 days.

10. Privacy

Your use of the Service is also governed by our Privacy Policy, which describes how we collect, use, and protect your data.

11. Third-Party Services

The Service relies on third-party providers including:

• Twilio — for SMS delivery and phone verification.
• Google — for optional sign-in via Google accounts.

Your use of these services is subject to their respective terms and privacy policies.

12. SMS Program Terms

This section governs the PasteToMe SMS messaging program. By submitting your phone number on the Account page, you consent to receive text messages from PasteToMe as described below.

Program description

PasteToMe sends transactional SMS messages only. There are three categories of messages you may receive:

• Saved-paste delivery — the notes, links, images, and files you choose to send to yourself through the PasteToMe website, browser extension, or API.
• Sports alerts — pregame and final-score alerts for MLB, MLS, or LA 2028 Olympics events that you separately subscribe to on the corresponding pages.
• Account notifications — service messages such as phone-verification codes and usage-limit warnings.

PasteToMe does not send marketing or promotional messages.

Message frequency

Message frequency varies based on how often you save pastes and which sports alerts you subscribe to.

Cost

Msg & data rates may apply.

Opt-out

You may opt out at any time by replying STOP to any text message from PasteToMe. You will receive a final confirmation message and no further messages will be sent. You may also remove your phone number entirely from the Account page.

Examples of the messages you may receive (one per use case):

1. Saved-paste delivery: "Meeting notes — Q1 review Friday 10am, slides attached https://pastetome.com/pastes/?id=12345"
2. Sports alert: "LA 2028: Swimming — Day 3. Aug 1, 2028, 7:00 PM - 9:30 PM PT. Aquatics Centre. Final — Men's 100m Freestyle."
3. Account notification: "PasteToMe: You've used 80 of your 100 monthly SMS messages. Your limit resets on the 5th. Reply STOP to cancel."

Opt-in confirmation (welcome message)

After verifying your phone number, you will receive a one-time welcome message:

"Welcome to PasteToMe! You can now send saved notes, files, and any sports alerts you subscribe to to this number. Msg frequency varies. Msg & data rates may apply. Reply HELP for help, STOP to cancel. Support: support@pastetome.com"

Phone number changes & carrier disclaimer

If you change or deactivate your phone number, please update or remove it on your Account page. You will not be held liable for messages sent to a previously-registered number that has since been reassigned. Wireless carriers are not liable for delayed or undelivered messages.

13. Disclaimer of Warranties

The Service is provided "as is" and "as available" without warranties of any kind, express or implied. We do not guarantee that the Service will be uninterrupted, error-free, or secure. We are not responsible for any loss of data.

14. Limitation of Liability

To the maximum extent permitted by law, PasteToMe and its operators shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages, including loss of data, profits, or goodwill, arising from your use of the Service.

15. Indemnification

You agree to indemnify and hold harmless PasteToMe and its operators from any claims, damages, or expenses arising from your use of the Service or violation of these Terms.

16. Changes to These Terms

We may update these Terms from time to time. If we make material changes, we will notify you by email or by posting a notice on the website. Continued use of the Service after changes constitutes acceptance of the revised Terms.

17. Governing Law

These Terms are governed by the laws of the United States. Any disputes shall be resolved in the courts of the state in which the Service operator resides.
